I’m agnostic but I like the quote “the greatest trick the devil can do is convince you he doesn’t exist.” A lot of leftist “intellectuals” don’t believe in evil because they necessitate its existence on religious superstition. They are so caught up in their self-righteous elitism that they’re “convinced by the devil” that evil doesn’t exist.
That’s why leftists explain all the “evil” we see as being caused by the “West” itself, or by mere environmental causal factors per se. These leftists are morally indiscriminate. Everything “West-related” is automatically bad and any attack by terrorists, no matter how brutal, is justified because “evil” doesn’t exist in their “intellectual” minds.
By the way, you can be agnostic and still be spiritual.
